My Story

Why I Started MVMNT

Alesha's journey into holistic wellness began with a deeply personal experience — the passing of her grandfather. Watching him navigate a complex web of medications with no guidance toward holistic alternatives or Ayurvedic care lit a fire in her. She made it her mission to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern science, so no family would feel as lost as hers did.

What started as a personal quest for answers became a professional calling. After years of study across nutrition science, Ayurvedic medicine, and functional wellness, Alesha founded MVMNT Wellness to create the kind of support system she wished her family had — one that honours cultural traditions while embracing evidence-based practice.

I understand the complexity of balancing traditional family expectations with modern health goals — because I've lived it myself.
